In light of the holiday season, the web site has just undergone a small makeover. Given the recent weather, I thought it might help us get in the right frame of mind for winter caching. I must admit that when I was out placing my latest multi, I stopped to look for a couple of caches. I forgot what winter caching would be like... |
...you certainly can't expect to have a "numbers day" a lot of the times. I quickly got frustrated of digging and decided I'd move on to warmer places. But you know, caching in the winter can be fun, if you head out with reasonable expectations. A group of cachers and some warm drinks also help!
Now back to the web site--this was just a minor upgrade which was entirely cosmetic in nature. I am hoping that some time in the New Year to upgrade the content management software, and the forum software. This will be a major undertaking, so I thought I'd better wait till I have a little more time to focus on it. And as I move to upgrade the software, I am always looking for any interested people to practice their writing skills and submit content. The floor is open to whatever you might want to contribute for other KAG members to read.
Last of all, I want to sincerely wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2009. It has been a great year of getting to know many of you, and I look forward to another great year of caching with you in 2009.
